Proud to Support JC23

We’re proud to be supporting Jamie Carragher’s 23 Foundation, which was set up to give local lads the chance to live out their dreams – a bit like a certain Jamie Carragher has been doing for the last 15 years of his professional career! :)

We sent a range of designs over to the foundation, and this was their favourite. Whilst we had all sorts of superlatives in mind when trying to get Jamie across on the t-shirt (legend springs to mind!), you’ll be pleased to know that Jamie hates being linked to any such words – in his own mind he is just a normal Liverpool guy, which just goes to show that not all Premiership stars are prima donnas! He really is a very down-to-earth and humble guy – top lad!

£4 from the sale of each and every t-shirt goes to this great cause, so please buy the t-shirt, and tell all your mates about it too!

Early Spring Clean

We’re having a bit of a clear-out ahead of some new t-shirts, and need to get some space back in the office! If you’re interested in bargain t-shirts click on the red clearance link above!

Be warned – when they are gone, they are gone, and we’ll probably never be making them ever again!

Proud to Support HFSG

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll very shortly be sending even more money across to HFSG. At the end of May, just two months after we launched the t-shirts, we sent them a cheque for £1000, having sold an impressive number of t-shirts. We were pleased to be able to give something back, and help the HFSG in their tireless campaign for justice.

Now that the latest inquiry (and the truth) have brought the campaign back to the forefront of people’s minds, we’re proud to report that we’ve raised ANOTHER £1600 for HFSG – thank you all for your kind generosity and support.

Whilst the truth is out now, there is still a long way to go before we get justice for the 96 fans who never returned home from the match, and your continued support of HFSG (through donations directly on their site, or from more t-shirt sales) are still very much needed.

Thanks again!

Justice for the 96

You should have heard (by the time you read this) about our brand new charity t-shirts that we’re selling in aid of the Hillsborough Families Support Group. The designs were specifically chosen by the group from a range of others, and we are very proud to be working alongside them.

When I went to meet with Margaret Aspinall and some of the other members of the Hillsborough Families Support Group on a cold and wet Wednesday evening I was asked why we wanted to help. I answered that we simply wanted to give something back. We are in the fantastic position of being able to get our t-shirts out in-front of hundreds and thousands of Liverpool fans around the globe, so if we didn’t use this platform to help HFSG continue the important work that they are doing then we really wouldn’t deserve to be able to call ourselves Liverpool fans.

In this day and age of internet openness and FOI requests, it’s ridiculous to me that the truth about that horrendous day in April STILL isn’t known. Thankfully, HFSG are campaigning on behalf of all those families whose loved ones never came home, to make sure that the truth is revealed, and justice prevails.

If we can help, even just through one t-shirt sale, then we will be glad to have helped. The truth isn’t out yet and, though it moves closer every day, HFSG still rely on donations. We’re going to give them at least £4 from every HFSG t-shirt we sell (hopefully more) and we’re hopeful of raising at least a thousand or two for this great cause.

Please help HFSG keep the fight for justice going by buying either of our 96 or Justice for the 96 t-shirts. It would also be helpful if you can help spread the word – tell / email your friends about these t-shirts, link to them on facebook and twitter, like the pages, etc – anything you can do to help get the t-shirt in front of more and more Liverpool fans would be very much appreciated! We’re in the process of contacting the local press, etc but if you have a contact, or can advertise the cause to liverpool fans through your blog / website / newsletter that would be great too.

We’ll let you know on how much we’ve raised right here in the blog, so keep checking back for updates.

Finally, if you don’t want a t-shirt but want to donate then you can do so on their website.

God AKA Robbie Fowler

When I was playing football in the playground, there was only ever one player I was pretending to be – Robbie Fowler.

He was everything I wanted to be – a local Liverpool lad who was living his dream by scoring important match-winning goals week-in, week-out in front of a Kop that was going wild with delight!

Whenever we needed a goal, Fowler would pop up from the middle of nowhere and knock it in. They weren’t always the most spectacular ones but invariably the ball would drop to his feet, and 9 times out of 10 it would end up in the back of the net – he wasn’t called the ‘most natural finisher’ by the pundits for nothing!

He will forever be a hero to me, which is why I’m glad that there is talk of a return to English football, and also why I’m glad we’ve finally got a Fowler tribute t-shirt out!

There IS a God – I saw him score in front of the Kop!
